Are community connected people who live in the community we aim to serve. Every person is passionate about people, culture + community development.
The dream of inter-generational continuity was realised from the ancestors of the Niue Community that migrated to Aotearoa many years ago. Their diligence in ensuring language + culture are passed down to future generations is one that we use to guide the work we do. The Vaka Manu'kau Niue Community Trust was established in 2000 and has been operating silently in the community ever since.
We are a community trust that has a focus on language + cultural heritage preservation. We aim to do this by supporting people in our community to develop their skills + identity.
